Raj Kiran, a well-known Bollywood actor who starred alongside legends like Rishi Kapoor and Shabana Azmi, has been missing from the public eye for more than two decades. Recently, reports surfaced that he was arrested for attempting to enter a spiritual ashram in Bengaluru.

Back in 1996, Raj Kiran was caught trying to break into the Sai Baba Ashram in Puttaparthi using a tractor and ladder during the night. He spent over a month in jail before being released on bail by his family. The actor later shared the trauma he endured during his time behind bars.

Director Mahesh Bhatt, who worked with Raj in the classic film Arth, revealed that he last saw Raj at a mental health facility in Mumbai. Bhatt described the actor as deeply troubled and unlike the lively personality he once knew.
