Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Found Guilty on Two Charges, Acquitted on Others in Federal Trial

July 2, 2025 | New York City — Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been found guilty on two federal charges related to prostitution but was acquitted on the most serious allegations, including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.
A federal jury in Manhattan delivered a split verdict on Tuesday, convicting Combs on two counts of transporting women across state lines to engage in prostitution, one involving singer Cassie Ventura and the other involving a woman identified only as “Jane.”
Each conviction under the federal Mann Act carries a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison, meaning Combs could face up to 20 years behind bars if sentenced consecutively.
However, the jury cleared Combs of the more severe charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy, which could have resulted in a life sentence.
During the verdict reading, Combs remained composed, expressing gratitude toward the jury and his legal team. $1 million bail sentencing, arguing he is not a flight risk. Prosecutors strongly oppose the request.
Combs remains in federal custody as the court prepares for a sentencing hearing, the date of which has not yet been announced. In the meantime, he continues to face multiple civil lawsuits stemming from related allegations.
